Our story goes all the way back to middle school, when we met at youth through Christ Church Presbyterian as 6th graders. We both went to different schools making it hard  to get to know one another. However, at youth on Sunday evenings it was hard to be apart. Having the chance to create memories at The Great Escape camp with the church youth is really where our spark began. Later in the year, on November 9th 2014, what I had finally been waiting for happened .. when Davison pulled me aside and asked me to be his girlfriend. 


Our high school years of love and friendship led us to graduate as high school sweethearts bringing us to the real challenge of separating when heading off to college. Davison in Athens, at The University of Georgia, and I in New York for fashion merchandising, we took dating long distance head on! While our years there were hard, we had moments of surprise visits and the thrill of counting down the days till we saw each other next. We were brought back home to Dalton where it felt like no time had passed leading us shortly after to the greatest season of our lives. 


November 19th of 2023 was when Davison got down on one knee to ask me to marry him at the Farm golf course. We were going to a “Thanksgiving dinner” turned proposal. As soon as he asked me I waisted no time in saying yes, and we celebrated the most memerable day with friends and family. It was the sweetest surprise and something I’m forever thankful for. We are so excited for an amazing new chapter as husband and wife in 2025.
